The following students have been awarded with a Massaro Kozak Art Scholarship to help support their pursuit of higher education.

2016 - Serenna Jones

An avid music lover for most of her life, Serenna pursued the arts both inside and outside of Out-of-Door Academy. She had been in ODA’s choir and was heavily active in performing at the Sarasota Opera House and various competitions. Scholarship Presentation

2014 - Scholarship Announcement

Out-of-Door Academy (ODA) art teacher Ms. Paula Kozak was pleasantly surprised when Maria-Francesca Massaro-Guglielmo unveiled the scholarship fund that bears her name. The Massaro-Kozak Art Scholarship Fund was created in 2014 to provide scholarships to students at ODA who embody the creative spirit of our youth in their pursuit of a four-year degree in Arts and/or Communications.

The scholarship fund was inspired by Ms. Kozak, who encouraged and motivated Maria-Francesca Massaro-Guglielmo to pursue a career in art. The gallery above captures the scholarship presentation, which took place on December 19, 2014 at ODA.
